Split Tongue Crow is band that has been hiding in the shadows of Vermont’s hills and towns for a while now. Vermonters Jeremy Woods, Matt Marro, David Anderson and transplanted Irish immigrant, Eoin Noonan have developed a musical bond that is deep and strong. With the addition of vocalist Cara White, Split Tongue Crow was formed in 2010.
With a sound as distinct as this northern state’s mountains, glacial lakes and valleys Split Tongue Crow’s backwoods harmonies and honest, and often melancholy songwriting recall such musicians as Josh Ritter, Neil Young and Modest Mouse.
